During July of 2016, in partnership with the Greater Sudbury Police Services and Northern Youth Services, we provided a pilot program for local youth.  We focused our classes on teaching youth some skills that could support gardening within their own communities.

During the first class, we taught students about wild/native edible plant species within our local environment and created some unique and delicious tea blends to take home.

Our second class we constructed 'seed bombs' using wildflower seeds for the students to beautify their own chosen spaces.

It was a great session with lots of keen questions and discussions.

There is interest in revitalizing this program if we can find volunteers to help.
