Type of garden

Shared Garden: anyone can plant or pick what is grown, unless the box is marked otherwise. If there are no signs in the box- please pick anything that is ready! Students from Princess Anne Public School usually plant the 2 long boxes, whatever is in there is free to harvest. In the past we have grown lettuce, tomatoes, zucchini, cucumber, green & yellow beans, snap peas, brussel sprouts, canteloupe, peppers, herbs, carrots and sunflowers, with varying degrees of success! We water when necessary by connecting the hose to an underground spigot in the park.
