We plant flowers, vegetables and herbs in collaboration with seniors.

Water source: municipal water hookup and rain barrel

Children: children welcome! We have playground equipment at the park. Planting done with local elementary school.
Tools available: watering cans, hose, shovels, rake, gardening tools. Gardeners must supply their own gloves
Storage: locked shed for gardening tools at the garden site
Composting: 1 compost bin
Volunteers
We are seeking volunteers to help with expanding the gardens, planting in the spring, watering and weeding during the summer, and harvesting.
Other
The Donovan/Elm West Seniors meet regularly in the community building. The Donovan/Elm West also meets in the building the last Thursday of every month. Join us to make your community a great place to live!
