Nestled in the heart of our neighbourhood, Jardin Communautaire Chelmsford Community Garden is more than just a place to grow fresh fruits, vegetables, and flowers – It’s a vibrant, shared space where community members of all ages come together to connect, learn, and cultivate both the land and lasting relationships.

Type of garden

Welcome to Côté Park! Where you will find our community garden.  Our garden includes approximately 30 raised beds and 4 to 5 in ground beds.

In this location you will be able walk through our pollinator garden, harvest in our urban food forest established and maintained by Shared Harvest located at the back of the garden. Have a relaxing seat in the commemorative garden and view our newest spirit garden as part of Truth and Reconciliation. Our tool shed has all you need to work your garden.  Water is provide by the city. Sit at the picnic table with  your lunch, read a book or share/collect seeds from the little library in loving memory of Mr. Mike Heapy. Enjoy our gardens, more to come.

  • 30 raised beds and space in ground beds.

Memberships and Costs

30$ for a membership which includes an allocated garden plot.

All memberships include access to the tool shed, water from the garden hose to use for your assigned plot and basic supplies to be returned in the shed.

Volunteers

We rely on our amazing volunteers to keep the garden thriving. Whether you’re interested in helping with planting, maintenance, workshops, events, or behind-the-scenes organizing, we welcome you time and talents. No experience is necessary ---we’ll guide you every step of the way! We welcome students looking to complete volunteer hours.

Garden Committee

The Chelmsford Community Garden Committee helps guide the direction of our garden supported by the Chelmsford Community Action Network (CAN) and ensures it remains a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space for all. We’re currently seeking new committee members who are passionate about their community.

Sponsors

We are actively looking for local businesses and individuals to sponsor our community garden. Sponsorships help us fund tools, educational programming, workshops, and infrastructure improvements. Sponsors will be recognized on our signage, website, and promotional materials. Help us grow – literally and figuratively – with your generous support !
