Type of garden
Our garden is available free of charge for students at Laurentian University.
Configuration
- Two 24 feet long by 5 feet wide garden beds
- Four circular pool plots
- Raspberry, red currant and blueberry bushes available on site
- Two apple trees and one cherry tree available on site
- A variety of pollinator flowers are available on site
- There is still space available for small garden plots to be added

- Our plots are filled with garden mix soil

We produce vegetables, fruit, and herbs.
Amenities
Water source: municipal water hookup with a hose available on site
Washrooms: the washrooms at the Vale Living with Lakes Centre are open to public use between 8am and 4:30pm. Public access washrooms are available at all times on Laurentian’s main campus
Tools available: watering cans, hose, shovels, rake, gardening tools, gloves
Storage: a shed box is available with tools inside
Composting: one round plastic composting bin
Trail: The 1.5 kilometer Biodiversity Reclamation trail extends through the garden area and has blueberry plants throughout.
